This unit was all about teaching specific groups of people—young and business learners, as well as various types of beginners. When teaching beginners, it is important to go at a pace suitable for those new to the language. Additionally, visual teaching tools and repetition are key. Compared to adult learners, young ones are often less motivated and more prone to losing the teacher’s attention. Business learners, meanwhile, require the teacher to adapt their teaching style to the industry with which they are working.
