This unit focuses on why to circulate rapport and to maintain participation among students despite varying levels of ability and interest. It introduces the idea of warmer activities and loopholes for helping shy students become more involved. I learned that pairing weaker students with stronger students is not a perfect structure, insofar as the teacher should monitor any imbalances which crop up in the simplest of pair dynamics.
