This unit covers the technical usage and changes of tenses in reported language. It gives some good tips on how to teach what is probably a very challenging area of grammar for non-native speakers that occurs mostly naturally/subconsciously in the minds of native speakers. I found the reported language tense conversion chart to be very useful, along with the examples given under both the conditionals and reported sections. I think including a summarizing chart at the end of the conditionals section might have been helpful as well.
