This unit covers subtle verbs which pair with object phrases and how to employ them effectively. It introduces ways to pose formal requests and to structure clauses while alluding to essential or inessential data. I learned that much information can be deduced from how commas are placed, how prepositions are uses, and the relation of object phrases to particles. I learned that even native English speakers can miss ways of making their point clearer, and that clarity will emerge on occasion without our fully intending it.
