This lesson gave a lot of good tips on different kinds of materials to use and the proper balance between using course books for study practice, authentic materials, and created materials for the engage, study, and especially the activate stages, and it also gave a lot of useful example ideas and tips for creating your own content, which I thought was very useful. The unit does a good job of teaching the right balance and levels to use each type of material as well.
