This unit taught me about teaching new language and what are some of the technique to teach new language to students. I learned that there are different activities encouraging new language within ESA. For example the "engage" phase would consist of using pictures, drawings etc., discussion and scenario building. I also learned that the "activate stage" would use discussion/debate as this is the last stage where students will be able to use vocabulary words in the correct manner.
