This unit briefly describes the most common methods used in language learning today and their positive and negative aspects. Later it discusses the method “Engage, Study and Activate”, or ESA. Different ways to create a lesson like “patchwork”, “boomerang”, and “straight arrow” are presented as well as what to focus on in each stage. The unit also gives a lot of ideas for games.
The part I found the most interesting was the one about how to correct your students the best way. I found the tips about when and how to correct very informing.
