This unit covered the different groups of learners that ESL teachers may encounter. Children have a natural curiosity that the teacher can use to their advantage. They have to be stimulated with appropriately paced games and activities, while adult learners benefit from more focused lessons. It was nice that this unit gave advice specific to certain demographic groups rather than just language levels.
