Growing up I understood the three main tenses. I never realized there were technically twelve. Even that concept is a little overwhelming to me and allows me to realize the type of intimidation students may feel in class. I appreciated the additional examples of the tenses used in sentences as well as the Active Stage Activity examples.
I will need to do more studying and analysis to fully engrain this concepts in my mind to be able to clearly and concisely teach the topics to students.
