I really enjoyed the refreshers when talking about the use of a native language in the class. I think it is important to remember that students don't always know all the words that they want to say but it is not always that they are trying to be disruptive or naughty in the class, but that they are trying to say something that they don't know how to say. Also, I really enjoyed the refresher about different levels. As an ESL First Grade Teacher, I have many students who are on different levels but try to help each other and learn from each other. This is a great strategy to help the students learn in a faster way.
