Unit 20 covered how to approach common problems that may arise in the classroom such as reluctant students, difficulty during listening activities, use of native language, large classes and classes with students at different levels. I have learned that it is important to establish rapport with the students as well as making sure there is rapport between the students. Additionally, that the teacher should not respond to questions in the students' native language as a way of deterring the use of native language in the classroom.
