Chapter one explains the characteristics of a good teacher and student, their role and how to carry out their responsibilities respectively.It further explain how a teacher should cary out his/her responsibilities on the various roles without interfering in that of the learner in order to avoid negative impacts in the learning process.I have learnt to classify the learners in different levels base on their ability in the English language .To my opinion, it is a very important aspect as far as teaching English language is concerned because it helps the teacher to know where to lay emphasis.
