This unit attempts to distill some rather confusing, sometimes rare past tense aspects into simple terms. I feel confident enough to explain the different usages and structures now, but I must admit that there are probably some cases where I would not be exactly sure which aspect would be most appropriate for a given sentence. As the correct answer always comes intuitively to me, being a native speaker, this unit definitely helped me view past verb tenses with a new lens and has resultantly given me more empathy for those who are struggling to understand them! I will also add that I liked some of the "activate" activities, such as story telling and "detective games"; I imagine those could be quite fun and engaging
