Course material plays a large role in capturing the attention, both short term and long term, of the students. I believe that in order to have a large success rate in the classroom a teacher should insure a constant flow of interesting material and that means alot of authentic and created material. Of course this unit also made me aware that one cannot simply gorge their own path all the time and so course books also have their place.
