I have learnt about teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. For all the above I have looked at possible Engage, Study and Activate activities. Moreover, I have also learnt about boomerang, straight arrow and patchwork lesson structures with regards to teaching new language. The unit also important information about how to choose the vocabulary to introduce to the students and the factors that come into play with how easy or difficult they will find it.
