I've learned that spelling is not a good way to say a sound. I also learned useful techniques for teaching intonation. I also learned that pronouncing words with the stress on the correct syllables will help you to improve your spoken English. I have learnt more information about stress which i didn't know before. It is possible to lay down some general guidelines for pronunciation, this will benefit the teacher and the students.
