Unit 19 reviewed different types of classes and what strategies for teaching them them. The unit discussed teaching beginners, individual students, children, business english, and monolingual or multilingual classes. I found the section regarding teaching beginners to be the most useful. A beginner can be both young or be an adult beginner, each with their needs and motives. However a technique that can be used for all kinds of beginners is pair and group work. The unit also discussed activities for teaching individual students such reading short stories and magazines.
