I totally understand that teachers are really important people for students. It doesn't matter how old are the students. In my opinion, one of the most important characteristic of good teachers is their personality. Certainly, a good teacher is capable of using effective teaching methods including different activities with maintaining the attention. But I think a teachers' desire to pass knowledge to their students comes first. Sometimes teachers are like parents for kids or like friends for adults learners. That's the reason why teachers have to organize their lessons so interesting, informative, with the appropriate approach depending of the learners' age, with a sense of humor. Along with, teachers have to control the process of learning of every student and motivate them all the time.
