I have learnt that it is crucial to monitor the stages in the students' learning, with ideas from the ESA- Engage, Study, and Activate. There are three major types of ESA types, namely the Straight Arrow, Boomerang, and Patchwork approach, where different order of the engage, study, and activate patterns are utilized. Various activities can strengthen and build the ESA, while it is crucial that when correcting students, the timing and methods used are fundamental to the way they learn and think.
