When it comes to pronunciation and phonology I can understand why a teacher would find it hard to teach because there are not may exact rules that can tell how it should always sound. Plus for natural english speaking people it normal so we don't really notices the rise and falls as we speak and viceversa. So it really is a challenging subject but I also see the importance of teaching this because it is going to help the learners understand the meaning and feeling of something when it is told to them.
