There are some types of classes in teaching special groups include; teaching beginners, teaching individual students, teaching children, and teaching business English or English for Special Purposes (ESP). Teaching each type required a different treatment and there are some useful tips that can be taken into considerations. Teaching beginner: Be aware of students' need, be as visual as possible, have clear and realistic aims, give simple instructions, also do not use the students native language, encourage them to speak English in class as much as possible instead. Teaching individual student: at the initial meeting, complete the need analysis to find out the students' specific language problems. Use the variety of activities and techniques to avoid boredom, and do not forget to try and arrange a combination of what the students want and what she or he needs. Teaching children: Use a higher pitch and exaggerated intonation to grab their attention, do lots of repetition, use a slower and more clearly pronunciation, always praise their work with positive responses to build their confidence. Teaching BE/ESP: Before the course starts, find out what the students want and what they need. It needs to be balanced with the company needs. Continue with a feedback session where everyone shares their information publicly, then conduct a discussion of finding on common needs, also telling them that during the course these individual need will be given attention as much as possible.
