This unit defined the productive language skills of writing and speaking, the reasons that drive productive language (need or desire), and clearly defined fluency and accuracy. We learned when during a lesson it would be best to focus on Accuracy and fluency, and what facets of a language skill (such as spelling and punctuation while writing) might prove challenging or require focus from the teacher.
