Reported speech is very common these days in media or in real life. We use it very often that's why this topic is very important to be well understood by students. This unit gave me clear view on the tenses transformations (for example: present simple in direct speech transforms into past simple in reported speech). One more important thing is to remember about the time backshifting: 'today' becomes 'that day' etc.
