I really appreciated this unit as it gave useful insight into the various different materials that can be used to structure lesson plans in the classroom (e.g., course books, authentic materials or created materials). It also did a great job of explaining the different scenarios that each material could be employed, as well as the pros and cons of using each one as a teaching tool.
It gave me a much better sense of the tools available at my fingertips for effectively teaching a lesson!
