This unit was a good reminder of what we need to do during the first lesson. How important it is to establish rapport and that students get to know each other. As well as finding out what they want to work on, their strengths and weaknesses. The use of ice breakers and warmers is very important for motivating and helping students to relax so that they're more receptive. Important reminders like not using their native language in class and what to do when faced with students who are not willing to participate.
