In this unit, I learnt about the difference between authentic and created materials. I also learnt about the differences between the two of them and advantages of using either of them in the classroom. Furthermore I learnt about course and the advantages and disadvantages of using them. I learnt that a good teacher will use both course material and supplementary material to aid teaching. Also if as a teacher I come across content in the course book that is not suitable, I should replace it with something that is. However I would have to be careful not to do that too often either.
