I love writing but I do not agree with the school system's idea that It's the most neglected skill, I was never a fan of doing homework, but I had no problem working on activities in the classroom with a teacher to clear my doubts.
The key would be to get the students comfortable enough to ask you questions about writing, and of course, they'd have to ask in English that way they'd work on two skills at once.
