After reading this unit, I realized a few things. The first one was that even though I speak and understand English fluently, I didn't remember a few of the technical terms used in English grammar or that there were some formulas. For example, I didn't at all remember what infinitives referred to, and I also didn't realize there was an order in using adjectives to describe things. I also realized how important it is to know the grammar and terminology of English in order to teach English more effectively. Having known English my whole life, I didn't realize the degree of importance in understanding the grammar from a teaching perspective. Overall, this unit was a really good refresher of English grammar I learned as a child.
