These days I’m facilitating an English Conversation class. It is the students´ idea to do so. What they want is to practice English by having real conversations about their life, like getting together with friends and sharing each others´ lives. I thing this idea goes beyond their level of proficiency and most of the time they do not understand what I say, they understand each other as they make the same mistakes… Is kind of frustrating. I wonder how this listening activity could be used in a more effective way.
