It is interesting to notice that we can use some present and future forms interchangeably like the ones mentioned above. I remember thinking that it could also be a future tense when learning the present forms in the beginning units. I never realized how often duration effects the tense we use. It's also interesting to me that we use a "Going to" tense. Of course I use it all the time, but I'm curious as to how that tense began. I can see the tense also being confusing to students who are actually trying to say that they're going (as in moving from one place to another). I also never noticed that we jam in 4 verbs in a row in the Future Perfect Continuous... no wonder why people find English difficult to learn!
