For this unit, I have enjoyed the detailed explanation of the ESA method and the many activities suggestions for each stage. Recognizing it is not crucial to correct at the Engage stage and Activate stage, I can be more mindful and deliberate in encouraging students' participation. I am also alerted about the cultural aspect of classroom dynamics. I will take some time and observation to tailor-make any classroom activities that will be culturally appropriate as well as language learning effective.
