In this unit we studied different methods of teaching, such as grammar or translation, audio or lingualism, PPP or presentation-practice-production, talk-based learning, communicative language teaching, community language learning, the silent way, suggestopaedia, and the lexical approach. We also learned several examples of the ESA or Engage-Study-Activate method, developed by Jeremy Harmer, and several examples of each stage. Some examples of Engage are partner information share, alphabet relay and memory games.
