In this unit, I learned about different types of classes and preparation required for each of them. Teaching beginners is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of teaching English to foreigners. We have absolute beginner, false beginner, adult beginner, young beginner, and beginner without Roman alphabet. Another type is teaching one to one and this type is less formal and teachers will often be the partner in the activities with the student. For teaching children, teacher needs to deliver slower and more clear pronunciation, needs to repeat more, needs to have positive responses to children when they answer to activities, and needs to use of a higher pitch.
