In this unit I learned how to choose different vocabulary and grammatical structures for a lesson and why that is important. For example, you want to make sure they vocabulary you are choosing will be widely accessible to the students i.e they will hear it and be able to use it frequently. I also learned what activities are best for each stage in the lesson, and was reminded of the different types of ESA structures (straight line, boomerang, and patchwork).
