This unit helped me understand the various external examinations that I wasn't aware of before and it's purpose. I was able to understand and learn how I could use different types of tests to help determine the learner's level, how they are progressing with what was taught and they need more help with. It also helped me understand what kind of tests are to be taken at the beginning of a course & during a course. I also learnt that it is important to include reading, writing, speaking and listening activities during a progress test.
