This week we completed unit 15 which focused on testing and evaluation. There are many different types of test out there and the all have a meaning and a place in the classroom. Not all tests are required but many of them have different benefits that could aid in your teaching. Pop quizzes help understand what students have retained over the last few lessons while larger tests show student growth and progress in the English language. Ultimately it comes down to how the teacher decides to use the tools at their disposal.
