This unit introduced the different theories of teaching English and addressed the ESA method by explaining each stage and providing games and tasks that can be used by teachers in each stage. The unit also discussed the role of correcting and how a student can self-correct, how students can correct each other, and lastly, how teachers should effectively correct students. I learned the different formats that a class can be planned and thought it was interesting how teachers can use the Boomerang or the Patchwork method to teach a lesson.
