This unit was really helpful as I always struggled teaching pronunciation to adult learners. I was able to understand the difference between intonation and stress, types of intonation and what they mean. I was able to understand techniques to teach intonation and stress. I now have good understanding of the two rules to stress. I also got insight to know that stress on penultimate syllables can differ depending on where the native English speaker is from.
