It is good to know that the set up of a classroom can change the environment and the mood. I also found it helpful to learn when sitting and standing are most appropriate, such as sitting while a student is ready or standing while providing instructions. Also learning when to use a students name, such as to not use it at the beginning of the sentence to keep the students engaged is very useful. The pros and cons of each type of group activity are also beneficial in figuring out what works for the specific activity in mind.
