This section was informative as I was unaware of the external tests that students had to take in order to prove their proficiency. I know of the ones for people who speak Spanish as a second language, but not those for english. It is interesting that there are so many that are attuned for proficiency in specific areas rather than a generalized area. Although, it makes sense in regards to those who are going for work versus those who are going into academia.
