We felt that this unit was a little confusing, It was difficult to understand the concept on paper, and felt a little like reading the rules to a card game before you've played a hand. We both struggled to understand when we read the unit individually, but once we were taking the test and actually started talking through it, it became clearer. If nothing else, this unit showed us the importance of verbal discussion to understand concepts of the English language, so if it was valuable for us as native English speakers, then it will certainly be valuable to our students.
