This unit was a helpful introduction to the grammar associated with teaching new language. We especially enjoyed the techniques for presenting and practicing as they were helpful in helping understand how an actual class might function. We also appreciated the guideline that lessons targeted to grammar or vocabulary are more likely to use the 'straight arrow' plan, whereas function based lessons are more suited to the other structures of lesson.
