This unit instructed on how to organize and manage a classroom. Specifically, the unit laid out the different ways a class can be configured. From this, I learned that a horseshoe design is good to make the classroom feel more intimate to allow students to share ideas with one another. The unit also addressed how a teacher should try to keep a disciplined class. I learned that teachers should address problems immediately. I was also surprised to learn that letting students correct each other helps build rapport in the classroom.
