This unity discussed how to recognize characteristics of a good teacher and student in order to increase the success of the learning experience. A teacher that knows how to guide students in a classroom setting and encourage model-student behavior will be able to create a good learning environment for the class and set the students on a good path for success. Being able to assess the skill set, demographics and attitudes of the students will enable the teacher to create the appropriate lesson plan and set the student up for success rather than underestimate and bore the students or overestimate and intimidate the students.
