This unit provided a good overview of what to consider regarding the use of course books. As course books are not good sources of authentic material and may not be a perfect fit for the class, they should be supplemented by teach-ercreated materials and authentic content. In addition to considerations regarding content and methodology, course books should be chosen with an appropriate price and availability for the area.
