In this unit, I learned more about how to choose vocabulary based on several factors. The appropriacy to students and the task at hand, and ease of teaching are all good factors to consider. It was helpful in the task sheet to have to create some lessons from start to finish. Always good practice. Understanding which points are very important to teaching function (like meaning, patterns, how and when to use) will be of great use in the classroom.
