This unit introduced a range of teaching methodologies, some that are effective and others that are less effective. But the main methodology presented and advocated by ITTT is the ESA format- Engage, Study and Activate. Each lesson should have one each of these elements, but to make the lesson more interesting, it's a good idea to add more. Along with this, the unit also addressed student involvement being more important than teacher lecturing and gave tips as to when and how to correct errors during lessons.
