It was good to watch a well prepared, successful lesson be carried out. It is easier to see mistakes made when watching these 2 lessons back to back. There were many times in the 1st lesson video where the teacher was so unclear about what he wanted from the students, it was obviously hard for them to react with correct answers. Watching the teacher give out the worksheet in video 1 with no instruction at all was painful. Good, clear objectives for each part of the lesson is so vital. Even though the teacher had some decent props in the 1st lesson, he did not go about eliciting information about the props well.
