I think even for experienced teachers it would be a good idea to write down the different phase activities and estimated timing - maybe even including multiple activities in the phases, whether or not you have time to complete the activities. Sometimes as a teacher you have what you think is going to be a great activity, but it falls flat. It would be good to have other things to jump to if you feel that an activity is not connecting with your students in that class or on that particular day.
