I find past tenses to be most difficult for my students to use, maybe not to absorb the rules and grammar part but they do have problems occasionally when applying them. This material also mentions most typical students' errors which is exactly what I was able to witness beforehand. I think the sample of ideas to activate the students while teaching this material are very creative and I think it will be very helpful to motivate them to use past tenses in the correct way.
